Happy Rasta Christmas! (Day 5)

Most of the day was spent on the phone trying to work out what Emma was going to do without her passport since we were heading to Guatemala the next day. After some problem solving, we figured out that we would continue on the trip without her, but once we got back into Belize she would rejoin us and hopefully be reissued an emergency passport prior to reentering Mexico.
Other than that fiasco I managed to sit at the internet cafĂ© and catch up on the Bloggins. Drank an incredible pineapple/orange/banana juice today. I love how freshly made juice is so available in Mexico and Central America… I wish it was so easy and cheap in the states. Went to Christmas Dinner with some of my group, but almost ditched to have dinner solo. I’m not really feeling my group. They are all nice, independent people but I am just not connecting with them. I don’t know whether it is the age range, the people in general or the fact that I am super stressed by this trip right now (since I don’t really know what I am doing), but I really feel like being by myself rather than with them.
